Heavy Metal

Sherman grew up poor and his biggest dream was one day being a middle class citizen.  He enlisted in the army to go to finance school and hopefully one day become a CPA.  All of those dreams went out of the window the day he saw a column of tanks roll by and he found his new love.  He transfered the next day and became a career military man.  His ability to calculate numbers in his head put him at the head of the class on the target range and his uncanny ability at the stick made him a natural recruit for the G.I. Joe team.  As one of the Joe's older members, Heavy Metal has taken a more mentor approach to the new recruits in recent years.  He can still go with the best of them on the battlefield, but he knows the new generation needs all the experience they can get against Cobra.
