Mortal was the final hire by Mr. Estrela to finish the vicious drug feud.  After many years of bloodshed, it was Mortal who put the bullet through his employer's enemy.  Mr. Estrela made sure to hire Mortal permanently and promised him anything he desired to secure his services.  Mortal agreed and is now considered family but he is allowed to take whatever other jobs he desires on the side as long as he does no harm to The Estrela Family.  And whenever Mr. Estrela calls, Mortal appears and is dispatched to do his services.
